Question 1: I am not good in English, and I wish to make a presentation in Chinese language. Is there any session I can present in Chinese?

Answer : Don’t worry. Although most of presentations in this conference are be in English, there is a “Chinese Session”, where presenters and discussants will speak only Chinese. If you are to present a Chinese paper, you need to submit 300-word Chinese abstract to Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 22 October. Five best Chinese papers will be selected at the gala dinner and be published in Tourism Science (旅游科学) in two months.

Question 2: Is it possible for me to present one English paper and another Chinese paper?

Answer: Yes, possible. You still only need to pay one registration fee.

Question 3: If I present a paper online at the conference, is my paper still eligible to be selected as one of the “Outstanding Paper of the Conference (OPC)”?

Answer : Definitely yes, as long as you submit a full paper to the conference email address Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 20 October 2025.

Question 4: If I present my paper only in the poster session, is my paper still eligible to be selected as one of the “Outstanding Paper of the Conference (OPC)”?

Answer : Definitely yes, as long as you submit a full paper to the conference email address Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 20 October 2025.

Question 5: If my paper is not selected as one of the “Outstanding Paper of the Conference (OPC)” by 9 Nov, what would happen to my paper?

Answer : First, I hope your paper will be selected as one of the OPC at the conference gala dinner. But even if your paper is not selected as one of the OPC, all full papers submitted to this conference will be reviewed in the fast track by the International Journal of Tourism Research (IJTR) reviewers.

Question 6: What is the procedure on submitting abstract and full paper to this conference?

Answer : If you only want to have your abstract (without submitting a full paper to contend an OPC) published in the conference program and proceedings, please just submit only 300-word abstract to Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 10 October (if you attend in person), or 22 October (if you attend online or by poster presentation).

If you want to have your paper be selected as one of the “Outstanding Paper of the Conference (OPC)” of the conference, you have to submit a full paper to Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 20 October 2025. In this case, the title of your 300-word abstract and the full paper have to be identical.

Question 7: Do I have to make a poster myself to bring to the conference if I want a poster presentation?

Answer : No, the conference organiser will make a high-quality colour poster and will display it in a professional display set for you. You only need to send the poster contents to Glosith2025conference@outlook.com by 25 October.

Question 8: What is the maximum word count for an abstract and a full paper?

Answer: 300 words in maximum including 3 to 5 keywords. No table, No figure, No references, please; Or 9,000 words in maximum including abstract, tables, figures, and references.
